A basic twin-stick shooter I'm playing around with. Lots more I'd like to add in terms of system/progression, but pretty happy where I landed in under 30 hours (created for the 'One Hour a Day' game jam). I did not incorporate the theme of the jam.
Please comment with any bugs/errors you run into. Sorry I didn't have time to get even close to game balancing it. The game ends currently at 'Wave 6' (or maybe it was 7??? ). Thanks for playing!

Fun, with sharp controls! I got 3030 points; what's my prize?
Banned for insolence!
Reminded me of Robotron! Loved how responsive the game felt - the little animations and damage taking were great.
I also really liked that you had to pick up drops to get points. Meant I wouldn't run around the outside and stay safe and had to risk some danger to get a good score.
I noticed the square enemies seemed to 'jump' closer to you when hit. Was this an intentional mechanic? It made me think twice about targeting them which was neat.
Thanks so much for participating in the Jam!
The only enemy that 'jumps' at you is the big square. I added that on a lark, it was supposed to be a 'surprise box' that spawned a bunch of random enemies and treasures after you destroyed it -- but I didn't get around to it before the jam ended.
Thanks again for holding a 'busy-person friendly' jam!
Love the imagery and the music. Controls were very smooth. Nice game.
It's great. Solid visual style and catchy gameplay!
Maybe, you might consider changing the color of the most basic ennemies (the yellow one with a blue circle). I tended to confuse them with the collectables after level 1 when the screen start getting crowded with more diverse ennemies.
Anyways, good job !
Thanks so much! I'll definitely take your advice. Thanks!
I like this! It's catchy. I died on wave 2, was about to close it, but had to come back. Ended up making it to 6. Good music, simple but effective and dynamic visuals
Great animations, very satisfying sound effects and gameplay is great! Bit too hard for me xD
